ADD Coaching - New Service Available at CRG
What is ADD Coaching?
Coaching for individuals with Attention Deficit Disorder is a powerful alliance designed to help enhance your ability to manage your life, make decisions and achieve your goals. The main objective of coaching is to identify what is preventing you from reaching a specific goal and to work with you to create a specific plan for reaching that goal.
Our ADD Coach, Sharon Bruner, M.S., is starting her practice after 20 years of working with individuals with learning disabilities, dyslexia and ADD. She has a Masters in Special Education, Orton-Gillingham certification and training from the ADD Coach Academy.
Please call our office to set up your initial consultation with Sharon Bruner, M.S. The initial coaching consultation will be 30 minutes in length and will be at no cost to you. This session is an opportunity for the client, or the parents of the client, to understand the policies, what to expect and how to proceed with their coaching schedule. Please call 317-575-9111 ext 119.
Did you know? CRG conducts Career Assessments!
As students and their parents begin to consider options for their post-high school experience, one of the important services available at Children's Resource Group is a Career Assessment. This assessment is designed to provide information regarding a student's vocational interests, personality type, and personal values in order to assist in identifying specific career fields for exploration. By appreciating their own interests and preferences, individuals are able to develop their own plan of action to begin to prepare them for success in the world of work. Students receive assistance in determining possible majors, areas of study, selection of an appropriate college environment and vocational alternatives to consider. The Career Assessment includes information gleaned from the:
- Revised Strong Interest Inventory, which looks at career and educational options
- Myers-Briggs Type Inventory, which provides information regarding the student's strengths and needs based on personality type
- Values Scale, which provides important information regarding the student's personal values.
It is our belief that finding the right "fit" among personality types, vocational interests and personal values will help ensure satisfaction with college selection and career choice as well as personal fulfillment for our young adults. Please call our office at 317-575-9111, option 8 to schedule a time to meet with Diane Widdifield, Ed.S., NCSP or Nancy Lindhjem, Ed.S., NCSP if you are interested in obtaining this type of assistance while considering post-high school plans.
